Tulian Lake

Tulian Lake is situated at almost 3,353 meters, and located 16 kilometers approx. from Pahalgam. It is famous for its tranquil environs, blueish green waters and the wonderful sightseeing opportunities it provides, as it is situated in between the Zanskar & Pir Panjal mountain ranges. To reach the lake though, you will have to take a very long trek, known as the Tulian Lake Trek, which consists of steep climbs. Tarsar Lake

Tarsar Lake, located in Aru in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, is surrounded by meadows dotted with conifer trees, mountains and gorgeous views of snowcapped peaks. It is separated from its sister lake, Marsar, by a mountain with a peak elevation of 4000 meters.

Sheshnag Lake

Sheshnag Lake is located almost 17 kilometers from Pahalgam at an altitude of 3,590 meters approx. Its greenish waters are home to a variety of fish including the brown trout, while mountains and snowcapped mountains encircle it from all sides.
The lake’s water is also considered to be of high quality, since it’s low in algal production. The trekking route towards it is extremely scenic and offers you breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain terrain & huge grassland terrain. Piercing the blue sky with an elevation of 5,425 metres, Mount Kolahoi harbours one of the indispensable glaciated zones of Western Himalaya.
Kolahoi Glacier sits, about 35 kilometres upstream from Pahalgam, at the head of the West Lidder Valley in Kashmir. The glaciated section of this valley is about 5 km in length. Known among the locals as ‘Goddess of Light’, the glacier boosts the rural economy and tourism as the Lidder River feeds the mighty stream of river Jhelum.
The water in the Jhelum flows from the melting of snow received during the winter as well as the melting of glaciers in the alpine region. Owing to Kolahoi’s meltwater, the Kashmir Valley is significantly fertile with the cultivation of cereal crops, dry fruits, saffron, and apples.
Kolahoi Base Camp (4140m) is a seven day trekking expedition in Kashmir. The trail for trekking to Kolahoi Base Camp is relatively easy and cuts through lush meadows of Aru Valley in Pahalgam, rich forest of Lidderwat (3050m) and Satlenjan (3420m) and the highland lake Tarsar.
